The GAN X is a wonderful cube, I love it! It's an all round awesome cube with tons of ways to modify easy to fit ones personal preferences. The versatility is what you pay for. You might find a cube just as good that you don't need to modify other perhaps for a bit of lube, but the GAN can be easily modified to act just like all the other top speed cubes, it's soo versatile.
Super smooth, insane customisation options, the best raw performance on the market right now. Even all that can barely justify the price, but if you can afford it, buy it.
I like this cube because it doesn't take a lot of for to rotate and it's just an amazing cube.
While i liked the buttery smooth feel out of the box, it came with a bad side. It was way too fast. I thought, no problem, and changed the base green nuts to yellow. The cube was now the right speed but corner cutting was only about 20 degrees. The srongest magnets come pre-installed are still too weak, so i will never using the magnet swap system.
To summarise, this is a pretty mediocre cube and definatly not worth its price
