Nice, but...

My son really really wanted this for his 10th Birthday...

He wanted a stickered non magnetic Gan specifically, he got what he wanted, and he loves it. He's managed to get a PB of 25.04 seconds on it, using CFOP F2l and Roux for LL.

I think, if you want to practice (or rather improve) technique then a non magnetic cube really forces you to work on good quality and accurate turning, but this opens an un-necessary discussion in a review.

This is good cube, it's a Gan, it has Gan R&D behind it and most importantly the Gan core, so from this perspective I can understand the price, it simply lacks magnets.

However there are better non magnetic cubes out there... little magic, and the original Valk 3 come to mind. Like I mentioned I got this simply because it was for a 10th Birthday, and it was really wanted.

Really pleased - am not a super quick solver so the spec and corner cutting etc are cool. Very smooth turning. Delivery was perfect. Thanks!

Good for a light turning style

This cube is way to fast for me and locks up sometimes, as the corner cutting is not as good as most cubes nowadays, and the flexibility, I find it hard to control. I have the green GES nuts in, it is very fast, but, too uncontrollable. I recommend, if you are looking for a new main, not to get this, but, it is better for a light turning style. If you have a rougher turning style, you could get a valk m, or gts2M for a Similar price
