The GAN 251 is a new 2x2 magnetic speed cube (as of August 2019). Originally based upon the old GAN 249 V2 it features many of the same great characteristics, such as great corner cutting, the same smooth buttery feel, and the ability to swap out the GES nuts to really customise the feel of your cube.

Just for context, I was at a comp where GAN were giving away some cubes to every competitor and I got one of these stickered 251 M 2x2s. Must say, was impressed right out of the box. So much so that I decided for no particular reason to use it in 2x2 finals, and got my 2.98 pr average on this cube. Must say practicing at home I'm quite inconsistent on it due to its light turning, and I do feel more comfortable solving on a valk 2 or mgc elite for example due to their solidity. As of writing this review, I have not beaten said 2.98 average yet when using my mgc elite, and I'm trying to find a set up on the 251 which slows the turning down enough to the point where I feel comfortable solving on this cube. Great cube performance wise, but I would much rather spending my money on an mgc elite or a valk 2. Don't bother with this.
In my opinion the 51mm size is perfect for my hands the larger size of the cube like the valk is perfect for my hands the magnet strength is pretty strong but allows you to have a faster turning speed the customisation is good with the ges nuts and the honeycomb is clean and the cube allowed me to get my new 2x2 single PB of 1.459 seconds
I think it dominates. GAN's GES, honeycomb etc are definitely in there. Accessories include the GAN box v5, a bag, spare GES and a 2x2 booklet. Bit on the expensive side but its better than my tengyuns!
This cube is great . It comes with magnets and a bag which are really useful , I think that the cube is definitely worth the price
I would defo recommend this cube. it turns effortlessly and feels great
