The GAN 356 X is an all new GAN 3x3 speed cube with inter-changeable magnets, making this the perfect puzzle for those curious cubers still dabbling with magnetic cubes. This particular cube features the numerical IPG core.
Approx Size: 5.6cm x 5.6cm x 5.6cm
Available Colours: Stickerless Bright
All of our twisty puzzles & Rubik's Cubes are brand new. Due to the nature of these puzzles they may become loose after the first hour or so of playing/twisting. Don't be alarmed, most puzzles allow you to 'Re-Adjust' them and set them up exactly as you want them. Simply read our "How to adjust your cube" blog for instructions on how to do this.
Please Note: Not all puzzles allow adjusting.

The main selling point of this cube is is sheer customisability allowing any user to find their sweet spot of magnets and tensions using the GES and GMS systems. This cube is definitely the cube to buy if you are still unsure as to what set of characteristics you are looking for in a cube.
You absolutely could not find a better 3x3 if you even tried. GAN have really outdone themselves and I don't know how they're ever going to top this one.
Angstrom Dignitas/Gravitas, DNM-37
Yellow GES setting 0.8
Out of the box, it is very likely that you will find the cube to be too fast. Even on the tightest setting possible, yellow GES on 0.6, the cube is still extremely fast, but somewhat more controllable. I have mine just below that at 0.8, which allows for better corner cutting but doesn't drastically increase the speed that much or compromise control. I have also lubed it with Angstrom Gravitas and Dignitas, which slow the cube down significantly but don't make it sluggish. A single drop of DNM-37 will speed the cube right up again when needed.
You have 3 different options. The clear GMS capsules have the strongest magnets, followed by yellow, followed by green. The cube also comes with a set of empty GMS capsules if you prefer your cube to be non magnetic. In my opinion the only magnets worth using are the clear ones, as the others are barely noticeable and might as well not be there at all.
As with the magnets, you have many different customisation options available to you. The cube comes with four coloured GES nuts which correspond to different spring tensions, yellow being tightest, followed by green, then blue, then purple. Each nut has 3 numerical settings. The numbers represent the maximum distance from the core to the base of the nut in millimetres. So the smallest number, 0.6, is the tightest setting, followed by 0.8, then 1.0. Basically you're not going to run out of options very quickly. My cube has the yellow nuts on setting 0.8.
With so many options, there is a setting on this cube that will work for anyone. The next best 3x3 on the market in my opinion is the MoYu WeiLong WRM, and I think even that is leagues behind the GAN 356 X. I recommend this cube to everyone.
Such a great cube. Feels the best, looks the best, turns the best, so customiseable. Definitely worth the price.
