Beginners Method notation

When You see an UPPERCASE "L" you should twist the upper left hand corner clockwise or anti-clockwise.

When You see an UPPERCASE "R" you should twist the upper right hand corner clockwise or anti-clockwise.


Wca official skewb notation

The WCA Skewb notation is the official notation set out by the World Cubing Association and is the correct notation for all official WCA scrambles. The above notation (beginners method) shows the basic notation not approved by the WCA, however, the guide we have written on solving your first Skewb puzzle using this basic notation (because it is alot easier).

In the images below the part of the puzzle that is greyed out is the part of the puzzle which does not move. The pieces in colour are the pieces that will move when performing the L/R/B/U moves.

When You see an UPPERCASE "L" you should twist the lower left hand corner clockwise or anti-clockwise.

When You see an UPPERCASE "R" you should twist the lower right hand corner clockwise or anti-clockwise.

When You see an UPPERCASE "B" you should twist the lower corner (at the back) clockwise or anti-clockwise.

When You see an UPPERCASE "U" you should twist the far back corner on the top face clockwise or anti-clockwise.
