In this tutorial we will teach you how to solve a Kilominx (AKA 2x2 Megaminx) puzzle. This isn't the most in-depth tutorial online and it does require previous knowledge of solving twisty puzzles. However, we have made this as beginner friendly as possible.

Step 1: We solve the white face on the bottom of the puzzle. Making sure we match the pairs along the side as well.

Step 2: We turn the puzzle upside down and solve the next layer up, "layer 2" if you will. This step is very similar to solving a 3x3x3.

Step 3: We then solve layer 3. This, like layer 2, is very easy and again, much like solving a 3x3x3.

Step 4: Next we bring all of the grey pieces to the top layer, completing this face. This is similar to the OLL stage of solving a 3x3x3.

Step 5: In this final step we permute all of the top layer (PLL on a 3x3x3) using a very easy method, thus solving our puzzle.
