When is the Competition & where will it be held?
Our competition is being held on Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th of April. We have not yet planned the exact events and times but we will have that done within the next day or two. The event is being run by Bertie Longden and Luke McRitchie www.twitch.tv/statzgfx and will be co-hosted by Chris Mills.
Will we have prizes for winners?
Yes, we have even partnered with TheCubicle to offer some great lubes as prizes.
1st Place podiums will receive a FREE bottle of 10cc DNM-37 along with a bottle of 10cc Lubicle Silk and a £7 KewbzUK Gift card (the lubes will be shipped with the order when using a gift card).
2nd Place Podiums will receive a £5 gift card for use on our website Kewbz.co.uk (same as above).
What's the schedule like?
The schedule is spanned over the weekend, with finals for all events happening on the Sunday. The Saturday finishes at 15:45 which gives people a chance to have a breather before competing in Cubing at Home 2020.
The top 50% of competitors of 3x3 Round 1 will proceed to Round 2, and all finals will be made up of 8 people.
Saturday 18th April:
3x3 Round 1: 10:30 - 11:15
4x4 Round 1: 11:15 - 12:00
2x2 Round 1: 12:00 - 12:45
Pyraminx Round 1: 12:45 - 13:30
Skewb Round 1: 13:30 - 14:15
Clock Round 1: 14:15 - 15:00
3x3 Round 2: 15:00 - 15:45
Sunday 19th April:
4x4 Final: 12:00 - 13:00
2x2 Final: 13:00 - 14:00
Pyraminx Final: 14:00 - 15:00
Skewb Final: 15:00 - 16:00
Clock Final: 16:00 - 17:00
3x3 Final: 17:00 - 18:00
Will I have to film my solves?
Videos must be recorded to qualify for finals and to be eligible for prizes. Video proof must be sent to @KWU20 at least 1 hour before finals and finals proof sent shortly afterwards.
